The Challenge 2

Dylan sat on the edge of the bed, arms crossed as his friends giggled over the selection of dresses he’d be wearing for the next month. His frustration was palpable, but he refused to let them see him sweat.

That’s when Marcus smirked and said, “Tell you what, Dylan—how about a double or nothing?”

Dylan narrowed his eyes. “Double? So two months instead of one?”

“Only if you lose,” Olivia chimed in. “But you won’t lose… right?”

Dylan scoffed. He’d already lost one challenge—what was another month? He could survive it if he had to. “Fine. What’s the challenge?”

Jordan grinned. “Simple. All you have to do is roll up these”—he held up a pair of sheer, delicate pantyhose—“walk up to the attic, and take them off again without getting a run.”

Dylan snorted. “That’s it? That’s the easiest challenge yet!”

“Ah,” Olivia said, holding up a finger. “One condition. You’ll be wearing these.”

Dylan’s stomach sank as she wiggled a set of one-inch-long acrylic nails at him.

Marcus chuckled. “Think of it as… a little handicap.”

Dylan hesitated. He had never worn pantyhose in his life, but how hard could it be? The nails were annoying, sure, but he figured he’d find a way. Besides, if he could handle one month, he could handle two.

“Deal.”

The Challenge Begins

With the glossy acrylic nails glued firmly to his fingers, Dylan sat down to put on the pantyhose.

That’s when the nightmare began.

His first attempt to roll them up resulted in a giant snag as his nails caught the sheer fabric.

His second attempt? Another snag.

By the third attempt, the once-pristine pantyhose already had tiny runs forming.

His friends howled with laughter as he struggled, contorting his hands in weird angles, trying to use just his fingertips. He even attempted to press them against his legs and slide them up like a snake shedding its skin, but it was hopeless.

“This is impossible!” he groaned.

“Not impossible,” Olivia teased. “Just not for someone with big clumsy hands.”

Finally, after five tries and a lot of cursing, Dylan got the pantyhose up. He took a deep breath, stood, and began his walk to the attic.

Every step felt treacherous. The silky material clung to his legs, and his biggest fear was brushing against something sharp. He moved carefully, hyper-aware of his every motion.

Then, the moment of truth.

Dylan sat on an old wooden chair in the attic and reached for the waistband of the pantyhose.

As soon as his nails pinched the fabric—SNAG.

A tiny run appeared… and then spread like wildfire.

“NOOOO—!”

The damage was irreversible. He sat there, staring in horror at the ruined pantyhose, realizing he had lost again.

The Double Down

Dylan trudged back downstairs in defeat. His friends were already waiting, barely holding in their laughter.

“Well?” Jordan asked.

Dylan sighed. “I lost.”

Olivia clapped her hands. “Wonderful! That means double the prize.”

Dylan blinked. “Wait… what do you mean double? I thought it was just two months instead of one.”

Marcus grinned wickedly. “Nope. Double the time AND double the rules.”

Olivia held up a checklist.

“From now on, not only must you wear dresses, skirts, and all things pretty, but you also have to wear:

Bras & panties. Every. Single. Day.

Sheer hosiery. Doesn’t matter if you ruin them—you just have to keep putting them on.

Makeup. Foundation, lipstick, mascara—the works.

Jewelry. Earrings, bracelets, rings.

A purse. Always. Wherever you go.”

Dylan’s face drained of color. “You have GOT to be kidding me.”

Jordan shrugged. “A deal’s a deal, buddy.”

Dylan groaned loudly and buried his face in his hands. This was getting worse by the second.

Then Marcus grinned. “Tell you what—triple or nothing?”

Dylan’s head snapped up. “NO!”

His friends erupted into laughter.

Dylan slumped in his chair, fully accepting his fate. For two entire months, he was going to be a walking fashion doll—and there was nothing he could do about it.
